Celebrate the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven’s birth (bapt. Dec. 17, 1770) with this lavish historical drama!
The film tells the story of the revolutionary composer from two different perspectives: There is the story of a young genius growing up in a time of great turmoil that changed Europe forever. And, there is the frame story, told from the perspective of a deaf and lonely man who is at odds with himself in spite of his great musical successes.
And of course there is the music!
