Following The Matchmaker on November 14-15, the following events are scheduled. Those on the contact list will receive an email notification as soon as tickets go on sale for each event.
Thursday, Dec. 6: A Royal Affair, 7:30 p.m., AMC Rolling Hills Theater. Denmark’s submission for this year’s foreign language Oscar.
Tuesday, Dec. 18: The Flat, 7:30 p.m., AMC Rolling Hills Theater, an award-winning film from Israel, not to be missed. (Note: this film will be shown on a Tuesday because the AMC will not rent us theaters from Dec. 19 – Jan. 7.)
4 consecutive Wednesdays, January 30 – February 20, Reel Talk South Bay with Stephen Farber, 7 p.m., at the ArcLight Beach Cities. See exciting independent and foreign films BEFORE their public release in theaters. Each screening will be followed by a stimulating discussion with filmmakers and film critics. More information on the series and on how to get tickets will be available very soon. This series is being brought to the South Bay for the first time by a partnership of Stephen Farber, Randy Berler, and Carol Pleatman.
